• To enter and receive redemption, it must be a minimum two (2)-night stay excluding all Friday or Saturday nights during the Rebate timeframe.
• Rebates are as follows: two-night stay = $25, three-night stay = $35, four-night stay = $45, five or more night stay = $55.
• Only one rebate per family may be redeemed during this program.
• To redeem the offer, bring your paid and validated receipt from a participating lodging facility to the Visitor Information Center, 101 Bouthillier St., Galena, during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday only (as of 7/18/11, operating hours are 9 am-5 pm).
• Program is subject to availability and may end at any time.
• Official rules for the “Summer Savings” Rebate are applicable.

Official Rules for the "Summer Savings" Rebate (the "Rebate"):

The following promotion is intended for viewing in the United States (the "eligibility area") only and shall be construed according to Illinois law. Do no proceed further in this site if you are not located in the eligibility area.
1) Eligibility: All entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and legal residents of the eligibility area. Employees of the Galena/Jo Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau (the "CVB"), their advertising agency and/or promotional partners, and members of their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, and husband or wife), together with those with whom such employees are domiciled, are not eligible to enter.
2) Timing: The rebate begins at 12:01 a.m. (CT) on Monday, July 18, 2011, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011 ("Rebate Period"). The deadline for receipt of entry is 9:00 a.m. (CT) Friday, September 2, 2011.
3) How to Enter: To enter, entrant must submit paid receipt from a lodging property to the Galena/Jo Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau, 101 Bouthillier St., Galena, IL 61036, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Paid receipt must include entrant's name and contact information which must match identification shown at time of redemption. The lodging property must be within Jo Daviess County. All properties that are eligible are signified by a ‘Summer Savings’ graphic on their landing page on www.galena.org. The use of a bogus name will disqualify the entrant. There is a limit of one (1) entry to person, and/or per family. Any duplicate entries, after the first entry, will be void. By entering the Rebate, an entrant consents to receiving additional CVB promotional information. All entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. All entries become the property of the CVB. The CVB is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, postage due, misdirected or mutilated entries, for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions; or for technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software which may limit an entrant's ability to participate in this Rebate.
4) Prizes: Each entrant is eligible to receive one (1) redemption during the length of this Rebate. All entries must be received in person by the CVB by 9:00 a.m. on the day and time the promotion expires. The administration of the Rebate will be overseen by the CVB, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects related to the administration of the Rebate and the selection of potential entrants. The entrants must claim their redemption in person only.
The following prizes will be given away: Each entrant will be eligible for a particular dollar amount of "Galena Dollars" to be used for services such as lodging, shopping, spa, recreation, and/or dining at participating Galena businesses. For a two (2)-night stay, an entrant will receive $25 in Galena Dollars, for a three (3)-night stay, an entrant will receive $35 in Galena Dollars, for a four (4)-night stay, an entrant will receive $45 in Galena Dollars, and for a five or more night stay, an entrant will receive $55 in Galena Dollars.
5) The entrants will be considered recipients of the Rebate at the time of redemption. The recipient must be present in person to take possession of the prize. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternative or other substitution allowed. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Rebate shall constitute an entrant's consent to be bound by these Official Rules and to conform to all federal, state and local laws. The CVB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, whether in cash or otherwise, if the prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. (A potential recipient may be required to furnish proof if identity, address and birth date in order to receive the prize.)
6) The CVB, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual who attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Rebate by tampering with any Web site mechanism, acts in a disruptive manner, or violates these Official Rules. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Rebate may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and will result in disqualification of such entrant. Should such an attempt be made, the CVB reserves the right to seek remedies and damages, including attorney's fees, from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.
7) This Rebate is subject to all federal, state and local laws, and is void where prohibited by law. The CVB reserves the right to modify the Official Rules of this Rebate in any way or at any time. This Rebate shall be governed by Illinois law. By participating in this Rebate, entrants agree that Illinois courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relation to this Rebate.
8) Rebate Recipients: The rebate recipients may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the CVB at the address listed below.
